Welcome to By Sil Pâtisserie!

We love baking cakes, cookies and other delicious treats making it easy to celebrate important moments that matter to you. Whether it’s a birthday, sending a thank you or just a get together with friends, just choose your treats and we delivery them for you to enjoy. We’ve done all the “testing” to get the flavour just right, so we know you’ll will love them!

By Sil Pâtisserie has its origins in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2017 Silvina, started offering cakes to work colleagues and friends, inspired by cakes her mum made and what she had seen in her travels. The amazing feedback convinced her to finally change her long-standing career in tourism and follow her passion, creating By Sil Pâtisserie.

Silvina’s mum and grandmother passed on their passion for cooking and creating incredible dishes, filling their home with warmth and lots of laughter. Learning from the pastry masters enabled Silvina to develop her own style – visual elegance, harmoniously balanced flavours, with a delicate yet smooth sweet taste that pleasantly lingers.

Whether it’s a cake, red velvet cookie or alfajores the same in-depth investigation goes into sourcing the recipe, ingredients and testing them all to get the taste just right.

Now together with Joe her husband in Melbourne, By Sil Pâtisserie continues this tradition of creating joy and laughter through treats. Using local ingredients and time-tested recipes, we ensure each treat is perfect for your celebrations and personal tastes. We believe that “Sweet moments are best shared.”

Driven By

Desserts should always be delicious from the first to last bite. One should taste the delicate flavour combinations of each different layer. We hope this triggers happy memories of wondeful times spent with loved ones.

We experiment with different ingredient combinations, keep up to date with new trends, seek out new and modify existing recipes enabling us to continually offer unique, yet delicious tasting experiences.

We are flexible and can accommodate customers’ requests, while still maintaining our delicate balance of flavour, sweetness and texture, which we are known for.

My love and passion for baking is the reason I started By Sil Pâtisserie. We strive to make every dessert a wonderful and delicious experience for everyone to enjoy.
